From Ho Chi Minh To Paradise Cave
From your location in Saigon, move to the Tan Son Nhat Airport. After that, buy a ticket to Dong Hoi Airport. The flight will be a little bit longer than from Hanoi. You need to wait about 1 hour 35 minutes to 1 hour 45 minutes before arriving in Dong Hoi city.

From Danang To Paradise Cave
The flight from Danang to this cave is about 3 hours 25 minutes. This is the fastest but also the most expensive way for you to travel between these 2 cities. Another alternative is to go on the railway (train SE2, SE4, SE6, and SE8), from Danang station to Dong Hoi train station. The average time from departure to destination is 6 hours 30 minutes. From Phong Nha Town To Paradise Cave
It is great if you are already in Phong Nha Town. What to consider now is how to get from Phong Nha to the cave. It is really simple! You just need to hire a taxi or rent a vehicle to move to the cave. The distance is just 18.6 miles so you need about 1 hour of driving.

How Old Is Paradise Cave?
The first time this cave was found was in 1992 by 2 British cavers from the BCRA (British Cave Research Association). The actual age of this cave is estimated to be about 4 – 5 million years. However, the stone pillars and stalactites are proven to exist for more than 450 million years, even before the dinosaur era.
It was until 3 September 2010 that the Paradise Cave was opened for visitors for the very first time. A company in Vietnam named Truong Thinh Group has designed and built the access road and the internal road of this cave so that the tourists can have convenience with their exploration.
How Big Is Paradise Cave?
The Paradise Cave has an amazing acreage, as it is 19.5 miles long. The height from the ground to the top of the cave varies from 40m to 100m. And the width of the cave varies from 30m to 150m. The data on how big the the cave is was according to the British Caving Association.
Paradise Cave Entrance Fee & Other Costs
To enter the cave, you have to pay a small fee at the entrance. The cost is:
- $22 for each adult
- $5.4 for each child under 4.3 feet
